Impassable roads, deep poverty or isolated rural communities (many of which can be found in Northern New Mexico) can be food deserts that strand people from access to healthy food.

Tierra Lucero hopes to acquire a van or truck that can be outfitted to deliver fresh produce to folks in remote areas who struggle to provide for themselves due to environmental or economic obstacles. A Mobile Market would put us in contact with people in these situations and creates an opportunity to share strategies for local food production.
