Cooperative Projects at Taos Pueblo

Tierra Lucero is honored to be working on the Taos Pueblo since 2002 on a variety of agricultural projects. Our “Memorandum of Understanding” allows for continued collaboration toward a shared vision of renewed sustainability and health for the Pueblo.

Our work has included:

  • Installing home gardens for families
  • Agricultural installation at the Taos Pueblo Day School
  • Teaching “garden club” at the Taos Pueblo Day School
  • Agricultural installation at the Taos Pueblo Senior Center
  • Agricultural installation at the Taos Pueblo Headstart
  • Design consultation and hands-on development of the Red Willow Sustainable Education Center
  • Leading the hands-on work component of the Red Willow Summer Youth Program
  • Leading Taos Pueblo children and youth in agricultural classes at Tierra Lucero
